It may be simple but they taste lovely. I present....

    The CUPCAKE!!!! Makes 12

I know there easy but you can make them your own.

    You will need...

    For the Sponge

    180g butter
    180g caster sugar
    180g plain flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    3-4 tbsp milk
    2 eggs

    For the icing

    25g butter
    250g icing sugar
    1 tbsp milk

    Method:

    1) Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases. with paper cases.
    2) Put all the ingredients for the sponge into a bowl and mix till creamy.
    3) Fill the paper cases with the mix.
    4) Cook for 15-20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
    5) While cooking, for the icing, beat the butter in a bowl until light and fluffy. Carefully stir in the icing sugar and continue to beat for five minutes. Beat in the milk.
    6) Decorate the cupcakes.
